Favorite Long Grain Rice


Simple Rice Pilaf

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
1 cup S&W® White Rice
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup green onion, sliced
1/2 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped


Directions:

Bring chicken broth to a boil in medium saucepan. Stir in rice; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Heat oil in a small skillet; sauté green onions and mushrooms until tender crisp. Toss onions, mushrooms, and parsley with rice. Serve immediately.
